Heatherlea is a small, cosy and welcoming bed and breakfast which is run by me, Helen (and Barney the dog). It is situated in Glencoe Village, at the base of the Pap of Glencoe. Surrounded by the beauty of Loch Leven and with stunning mountain views, Heatherlea is the ideal base to explore Glencoe, Fort William and the Oban areas.
From hill-walking, water sports, golfing, fishing, cycling and skiing, to relaxing and enjoying the scenery, exploring the local area and capturing the wildlife with your camera, there is plenty for everyone in the stunning Scottish West Highlands.
I have a range of rooms and accommodation available at Heatherlea Bed & Breakfast and I can’t wait to welcome you into my home. I am always happy to offer advice on places to go, where to eat and help you uncover the natural gems that surround us, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
About your host……me. Well I love the outdoors, that is why I moved to Glencoe. I walk, run, bike and ski either by myself or with friends who love to embrace the outdoors also. There is nothing better than being up a mountain, being with nature and feeling on top of the world, so that is why I have also climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and walked to Everest Base Camp. I have either walked or run around the mountains and trails here so I know them pretty well now. My challenge for 2019….complete my first ultra run!
I have a Heatherlea Facebook page which is constantly updated with walks and other activities I a have done in the area. It gives you great ideas for what you can do, so just click on the Facebook icon below, at the bottom of this page.
